Fishing with electronic down riggers is something that has been used for many years by Commercial fishermen. There are a number of devices available that attach to the down rigger that send a small electric charge down this cable. This electronic signal, when properly adjusted drives fish crazy as they come as if to say; "can I come to dinner".
